AN INTRODUCTION

For those of you who do not know, The Cotswolds is a beautiful, countryside area in the South West corner of England. it is well known for its rolling fields, stone built houses, idylic villages and rural way of life. It is a very popular tourist destination, both for the people of Britain as well as our foreign visitors.

COTSWOLD ART

As the name suggests the 'raison d'etre' of this page is to preview artistic work created from the Cotswold area. Our particular artist has lived in the area for years and paints what he sees - the villages with their beautiful stone built cottages, the many and varied birds that live and breed in the many hedgerows which line the country lanes, the animals that inhabit the many farmyards that dominate the area, and anyhthing and everything he sees in this most beautiful corner of ou green and pleasant land. Please use this site as you would any art gallery; wander around, take a look, critise, praise, and even purchase if you so wish.

The Cotswold Art site consists of this Home Page, The Gallery, the Artists Originals Page and our Order Form.

The Gallery contains all the work available for you to view and peruse at your leisure, as you would in any normal art gallery. The Gallery is currently split into four areas for ease of use; Wildlife, Farmyards, Landscapes and Miscellaneous. All work displayed in the Gallery can be purchased as a mounted print, delivered direct to your door.

The Artists Originals Page contains original works of art for you to view and peruse at your leisure. as with the prints available in the main gallery, these are available for purchase but, as they are originals, they are one-offs and once an item is sold it will be removed from this area. You may find however that prints of items appearing here are also available in the gallery. Please bookmark this page as it will be changing on a regular basis as work is sold and replaced by new items.

The Order Form, as the page title suggests, is where you can order both prints and originals. We've attempted to make the ordering process as simple as possible and all items are priced very reasonably. For just a little amount you can have a delightful piece of England, beautifully hand crafted in the Cotswolds, hanging in your home.
